Is really easy to install, is just to follow the instructions. It looks and feels like part of the gun. I can use my Glock with the same holster I had.I did read in special handgun and combat pistol technique books that being able to get on target quickly is very important in an armed confrontation, and accuracy actually being nearly twice the important as speed. The red dot "appears" (if I want it) as soon I establish the handgun grip, I don't need to fight with sights alignment, "tunnel" vision, close range distance or arms positions to get the target.The Lasergrip is a perfect match for my Glock, it is a great investment in security. I found that there were many times when I simply wasn't carrying because of weapon bulk or weight. Finally ended up with a .380 auto which is always with me. To be effective, this small round must hit the target and the laser gives me much more confidence that I will be able to do so. The Crimson Trace was a perfect fit and added nothing to the bulk or weight of the weapon. If I had it to do over, though, I would pay a little more for the Ruger .380. It is an easy install and it helps ensure a better trigger squeeze when using the double action only Ruger LCR. Since the LCR is a small defensive handgun, you are expected to be able to place accurate shots from nonstandard or awkward positions. The laser really helps get on target fast and stay on target while pulling the long trigger action. It is also great for dry fire practice to help work on maintain a steady trigger usage (be careful to have no ammo in or anywhere near during dry fire. Also, ensure the dry fire target and background is clear. You need to be extra careful. Do not dry fire target something you are not prepared to shoot). Anyway, snub IRS like the Ruger LCR are tough for many to shoot accurately and the Crimson Trace Laser grip make it a great deal faster and easier. The only other experience I've had with a Crimson Trace laser was on my friends Kimber 1911, and that was nice. Zero is easily done with good Windage and Elevation adjustment screws. Overall I like this laser but I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars based on two things. A) Lack of an On/Off switch which to me is HUGE - For the price it should have this switch. This might not be a deal breaker for you, but because of the location of the button when shooting, that laser will be on whether you want it on or not...which to me is a distraction if you just want to just use the 3-dot sight picture. B) Battery life is short - Be ready to buy a huge backup of batteries as this little laser eats them up. Uses (2) 357 silver oxide batteries. An Excellent Lasergrip for Taurus JudgeBy Dewayne OxleyI had read the review by Big Jon, before my Crimson Trace LG-375 Lasergrip arrived, and was concerned about his description of the loose fit of this grip on the Taurus Tracker Judge. My Judge is the 3" chambered SS Mag, but upon researching it with Taurus, I found that the handgrip on the 3' is exactly the same as the normal 2 1/2". When it arrived I found that if you didn't slide the button batteries in carefully, and correctly, it would cause the batteries to stick out slightly, yet still function. This wouldn't allow the grip to completely close as designed. Also the right grip, the half holding the batteries should be locked into it's designed space very slowly and carefully. When it is into it's seat, there was absolutely no play on that half. It made me think Big Jon may have not gotten it completely into it's seat. Nice plastic laser sight for a little gunBy Dave "Tree"This plastic laser sight comes in two parts that snap on to your Ruger LCP trigger guard. The actual laser assembly extends under the barrel. It is firmly affixed to the gun frame with two tiny hex-head screws that basically squeeze the two parts of the assembly together tightly around the trigger guard, after you snap them into place.You are provided with two tiny hex head wrenches to accomplish the assembly process, and they also fit into the two adjusting screws near the aperture. I found it necessary to use the laser aperture adjusting screws, but it was easy to follow the instructions and get the red "dot" sight centered along the iron sights.In the field, the fact that this laser sight is a mainly plastic component comes into play. The little Ruger LCP kicks hard when firing the usual .380 cal 95 grain FMJ rounds, so it is not surprising that the laser pointer occasionally shifts slightly after firing a few clips.
