Is really easy to install, is just to follow the instructions. It looks and feels like part of the gun. I can use my Glock with the same holster I had.I did read in special handgun and combat pistol technique books that being able to get on target quickly is very important in an armed confrontation, and accuracy actually being nearly twice the important as speed. The red dot "appears" (if I want it) as soon I establish the handgun grip, I don't need to fight with sights alignment, "tunnel" vision, close range distance or arms positions to get the target.The Lasergrip is a perfect match for my Glock, it is a great investment in security. I found that there were many times when I simply wasn't carrying because of weapon bulk or weight. Finally ended up with a .380 auto which is always with me. To be effective, this small round must hit the target and the laser gives me much more confidence that I will be able to do so. The Crimson Trace was a perfect fit and added nothing to the bulk or weight of the weapon. If I had it to do over, though, I would pay a little more for the Ruger .380.
